Three story house surrounded by trees and flowers. Communal kitchen with large living room, dining room, den, basement, laundry room with washer/dryer, front yard, back yard and a little kitchen door accessed patio with a "plant wall".

The kitchen is sizable, with two fridges, a good assortment of cooking appliances/accoutrements, and a dishwasher. We compost food scraps, leaves, and yard debris in the backyard.

Multiple outdoor zones: front porch with swing, shady front yard that extends around into a sunny side lawn, fire pit and grilling stations in the backyard with seating areas for meals and gatherings under umbrellas.

The room is on the third floor and has a layout suited for dividing into two separate areas. Two sets of windows look out into the tree tops where birds and squirrels intermingle and frolic to the delight of onlookers. Plenty of room for storage in the large closet and there is built-in shelving along one side of the room. The space is currently furnished, but feel free to omit/customize furnishings and arrange it any old way. There's a shared bathroom with tub/ shower for third floor use, two full baths on the second floor, half bath on first floor.

There's a smaller room ( also on 3rd floor) that will be opening up Nov 1st for a one month sublet, possibly a little longer. We can discuss when you come see the room (s).

No more pets! We have a couple cats and dogs.

We are seeking mature self- appointed individuals who understand the importance of weekly cleaning and maintenance routines in a house full of humans and animals.

About This Lister

We are working professionals ( 40s-50s) of varying sorts and like to keep it simple. We've oft been burned and have expectations of decency and cleanliness. This is not a "communal" house in the traditional sense. Although a weekly meditation group has been meeting here for the past few years. There are no regular house meetings or many parties/social gatherings. For the most part we keep to ourselves and respect each others privacy. Help rake the leaves and deal with compost. That'd be nice. We'll have some fall fun too.
