Right now more than ever, artists are crucial. We want to reaffirm the essential role we all play in creating positive change. The Artist Feature Series is our first initiative to celebrate our community in this light. Throughout the year, we will curate and share the work of the artists and creative people who are the Listings Project community. We are incredible and strong.
Love,
Stephanie
Our first Listings Project Artist Feature is actor and comedian, Dana Kaplan-Angle.
We begin this series with someone close to us; and someone many of you have had exchanged emails with. We’re excited to highlight and support Dana’s work as an artist in this inaugural post in our series. Dana joined Listings Project in 2010 when she moved to New York City and was in search of housing. Dana began working for Stephanie as an intern after responding to Stephanie’s Opportunity listing posted on Listings Project. She is currently the Community Manager for Listings Project and has helped shape Listings Project into what it is today.
Dana has performed all over New York City and beyond. She has been featured in videos for Planned Parenthood & High Maintenance, her work has screened at film festivals across the country and she has performed off Broadway with collective playmaking theatre company Rady&Bloom. She is an actor with Story Pirates and writes and acts in a monthly sketch show called Deep Space Live. Dana is a member of Funkle Todd, their film Door on the Left has screened at the New York Television Festival and is a Vimeo Staff Pick.
