The Client Services Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that our clients have the right people and supports in place to optimize their quality of life. Very often, they will be the first person that our clients and their family members meet from Duet. They will be responsible for assessing the needs of clients, determining the traits and experiences needed by the caregiver(s) who will support a particular client, and continuously recommending resources and ideas throughout the term of service.
The Client Services Advisor will assist with coordinating the efforts of the Client Service team. This will entail attending team meetings and working with all team members to onboard and support clients. The Advisor will also be involved in maintaining relationships with key members of other organizations that can provide services to our clients– for example, professional geriatric care managers or social workers at healthcare and non-profit organizations.

● Uphold the standards for client evaluation and support across the organization
● Visit with clients and family members in their homes to evaluate needs and provide ongoing support
● Educate clients and family members (or their representatives) on our services during the client onboarding process
● Maintain working relationships with key members of other organizations that can provide complementary services to our clients
● Work under the direction of the Director of Client Services to meet the goals for the organization
Requirements
● Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelors or Masters level Social Work degree strongly preferred
● 3+ years of experience in senior home care, healthcare or case management required
● Ability to manage the interpersonal aspects of client and community resource relationships, as well the experience to make sound judgments for client care needs
● Ability and readiness to travel by public transit within the five boroughs of New York City for home visits and client assessments
● Strong proficiency with business technology and web-based applications
