This is a hybrid role across retail, experiences, and production support:
Sales & Floor Presence
Actively engage every customer (no passive selling)
Drive sales across apparel, jewelry, fragrance, and candles
Execute upselling and bundling (increase AOV + UPT)
Maintain a clean, elevated, and organized sales floor
In-Store Experiences
You will be trained to assist with:
Permanent jewelry
Charm bar (build-your-own pieces)
Fragrance blending
Candle pouring + blending
Decor casting
You don’t need prior experience in all of these—but you must be comfortable learning hands-on, detail-oriented processes
Production Support
Assist with small-batch production (candles, fragrance, decor)
Prep materials and maintain inventory for workshops
Support fulfillment and restocking between Oculus + JFK
Operations
Communicate with store manager + JFK team on restocks
Help maintain inventory levels and back-of-house organization
Ensure all tools, stations, and materials are ready for service
Who You Are
Strong seller (confident, engaging, not passive)
Detail-oriented and hands-on
Comfortable working with tools, materials, and processes
Fast learner with a proactive mindset
Creative eye + appreciation for brand presentation
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Bonus if you have:
Jewelry experience (especially permanent jewelry)
Beauty/fragrance background
Workshop or hospitality experience
Production or studio experience
Compensation
$20 / hr
