Room available in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment in Bed-Stuy. Move in available Feb 15 - Mar 1st. 12-month lease preferred.
The apartment is on the third floor of a walk-up and about a 10–15 minute walk to the A/C and G trains. There’s a laundromat at the end of the street and a grocery store one block away. Utilities (Con-Ed + Optimum) usually run $60–$80/month. We’re also a short walk to Herbert Von King Park, plus a great mix of neighbourhood bars, cafes, and places to eat.
The bedroom is 15x8, unfurnished, with a built-in closet and enough space to comfortably fit a queen bed, desk, and dresser. It’s located at the back of the apartment, so it’s generally quieter, and has fire escape access overlooking the backyard. You would be sharing a bathroom with one other roommate.
You’d be living with Hannah (she/her) - an Australian who works in film and bakes as a stress response; and Berkeley (she/her) - a California native and interior designer who takes down dudes twice her size on the soccer field. We're both in our early 30s. Nan is a cat who barely tolerates living with us. We have our own lives and schedules but enjoy hanging out together; watching TV, going out to eat, or chatting at home. We occasionally have friends over for dinner or small hangouts.
We’re hoping to find a roommate who’s similarly independent, friendly, considerate, and keeps shared spaces tidy.
Our landlord requires first month’s rent and one month’s rent as a security deposit at move-in.
