We need folks for 2-3 days/week right now with the possibility of covering shifts as they arise and perhaps even taking over more full days as we move into Spring and Summer though this is not meant to be just a Summer job. We value long term employees and have employed many people through their college and grad school years. Good customer service skills are a must which means being able to help people of all stripes; our wide ranging inventory attracts people from students, to grandparents, from independent shoppers to folks that need a lot of help. Retail experience is preferred, but some sort of customer experience is a must because the service we give our customers is a huge cornerstone of our shop! This position will work side by side with other team members at times, but applicants must be able to work independently as the need arises, which entails assisting customers in their shopping and running the sale on our POS system and being able to gift wrap. We are looking for folks who take initiative when there are quiet moments to work ahead on tasks that can’t happen at busier times.

We are a small, family owned, women and non-binary run retail business in our 19th year and we are looking for part time help! What makes our store so special is that we truly have something for everybody, at all budgets levels, for all occasions. We are based in the cozy Art Museum section of Philly and enjoy a huge amount of regulars who we enjoy interfacing with on a repeated basis. We also serve folks who are just visiting and come for our unique, curated selection of Philly-centric inventory. We pride ourselves on being known for our excellent customer service as much as for our inventory.
