Whether you’re an experienced writer, a movie lover, someone looking for a creative outlet, and/or truly anyone, I’ll be happy to have you in this workshop. I’ll meet you where you are, and I’ll do my best to guide you toward your goals and the best versions of your ideas. You’ll come out of the session with…

- An understanding of the formal elements of cinema

- How to make meaning in your writing and a hold on your personal creative voice

- An engaged community of fellow writers + filmmakers interested in you and your writing

- Well-refined pages of a script and ideas for moving forward

Workshop details + pricing:
- Eight classes, two + a half hours each – 5:30 - 8:00 PM PST / 8:30 - 11:00 PM EST
- A few one-on-one check-ins
- Develop 12-14 pages (a short or the beginning of a feature) – some flexibility/individualization possible here
- A curated watch list
- One special guest (Week 4 or 5)
- $515 for the session
- Optional 60 minute one-on-one meeting ($55)

About this Lister

I studied creative writing at Gonzaga University, and I earned my MFA from NYU’s Graduate Film Program where I learned from many great filmmakers. My first feature, A Perfect Day for Caribou, had its world premiere at the 75th Locarno Film Festival. It was released in April 2024.
